Trump National Golf Club is a Jim Fazio design and is located 30 minutes north of NYC in Westchester County.  The property consists of an 18-hole golf course, practice facility, clubhouse, 4 clay tennis courts, pool and 16 townhouses.  This position is an excellent opportunity for learning and growth within the ever-growing Trump Golf portfolio.  The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of turf management including:  Chemical applications, water management, budgeting, staff management, daily planning and record keeping/reporting.  The assistant will work closely with the superintendent, other assistants, mechanic and a crew of approximately 16 during the season.

Experience Requirements:  A minimum of 3 seasons/years on a golf course.  Candidates should be experienced in all facets of golf course maintenance including but not limited to fertilizer and pesticide application and calibration, IPM, irrigation repair, and all equipment operations.

Educational Requirements:  Degree in Turfgrass Management or related field.

Special Requirements:  The candidate should be highly motivated, detail oriented and be able to effectively communicate.  The applicant should be able to focus on their current task while being able to see the whole operation.   The assistant should also obtain a NYS pesticide license within 6 months of hire.  Spanish speaking is a plus but not required. 

Salary Range:  55-70k
